Biking is a great way to get around UCSC and Santa Cruz. It’s healthy, fun, and helps fight climate change.

Buying a quality bike or an e-bike can be an expensive investment, but there are great financing options and rebates available for qualified buyers. The offers and rebates shown below are for information purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of any of the listed products, services, or programs.

Keep in mind that interest rates and loan terms vary. Be sure to look for an option that will work for you.

How It Works

Ready to ride into a sustainable future? Here’s how to get rolling with the UC E-Bike Purchase Program:

  • Ride Happy: Once you’ve made your selection, purchase the model that fits your needs, and pedal away, enjoying the perks of a greener commute!
  • Eligibility: Students, staff, and faculty are all welcome to participate and purchase!
  • Explore Options: Discover a range of E-bike models that suit your style and needs. We partnered with four awarded vendors, offering a range of eBike models, cost-effective pricing, maintenance support, and a commitment to promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions. (Click E-Bike links below or download E-Bikes Purchase Program PDF below to explore E-Bike options and register your UC email address to review company catalogs.)
  • Affordability: Discounts on certain models range 15%-60% off retail. Some individuals may even qualify for free E-Bikes, based on the future CARB incentive program.
