City of Santa Cruz Depot Park Lot
The City of Santa Cruz offers off-campus long-term parking at Depot Park, located near downtown Santa Cruz, and just a short walk to a Santa Cruz Metro bus stop where students can catch a bus to campus.
Cost: $125 per quarter.
Applications are available at the Santa Cruz City Parking Office, 124 Locust St. (office is in the front of the Locust Street Parking Garage). Call (831) 420-6098 during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
High Street Church Parking Lots
The following churches offer parking. A quarterly or annual permit can be purchased from the church office. Please phone the contact person listed for additional information.
Messiah Lutheran Church
Weekday Commuters
Monday-Friday only; no overnight or weekend parking is offered. Cost: $450 annually for 9/1 through 8/31. Parking hours are Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Freshman/Sophomore Residential Students ONLY
Overnight parking (including weekends) is available with proof of campus residency. Cost: $750 for the academic year; $200 for summer quarter.

Vintage Faith Church
This is a weekday commuter lot only; no overnight or weekend parking is offered.
Fees
Quarterly: $100
Academic Year: $225 (September 1 through July 1) up to 10 spaces.

Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Peace United Church of Christ
This parking lot is the closest to the UCSC Main Entrance, just over one block, at 900 High Street. The lot is at the front of the church, fully lit, and has an on-site resident custodian.
Fees
Summer 24/7 Parking: $300 ($320 if paying via PayPal)
Fall-Spring Monday-Friday Parking: $750 ($770 is paying via PayPal)
Fall-SPring 24/7 Parking: $800 ($820 if paying via PayPal)

High Street Community Church
Step 1 – Application
Please complete the Online Application first. Note that the application holds your spot on the waitlist but does not guarantee a parking spot.
Step 2 – Payment
After filling out your application, wait for the office to send you a PayPal link. Complete your payment and email the Office with the following:
- PayPal receipt
- Photo of the student’s driver’s license
- Copy of your car insurance listing the student as a covered driver
- Copy of the registration for the vehicle
Step 3 – Confirmation
After correspondence, the Office will finalize your spot and print your Permit.
Step 4 – Pick up Permit
Pick up Parking Permit preferably on Tuesdays or Wednesdays between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm during the first 2 weeks of June, or in Summer/Fall by apptointment before the first week of classes begin.*
*Office will accommodate special circumstances regarding family health, early arrivals, or similar, only if contacted before arrival.

Upper Lot/Back Row of Lower Lot:
- 24/7 Parking
- Yearly: $850*
- Quarterly: $335*
Lower Lot:
- 24/6; vehicle must be moved between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm on Sundays
- Yearly: $800*
- Quarterly: $315*
*Subject to change yearly. Pro-rated if the permit is purchased in the middle of a quarter.
