Summer Parking Information
Purchase summer parking permits at ucsc.aimsparking.com. All permits are now virtual and your license plate will act as your permit. You must submit proof that the vehicle is register to you or an immediate family member at the time of application.
Summer Session students can only purchase parking permits for the campus remote parking lots. Remote lots are frequently served by campus shuttles. You can purchase:
- daily
- weekly
- monthly
- by session
Email the TAPS Sales Office for questions about summer session parking permits.

Summer Classes at Coastal Science Campus
Students with summer classes at Coastal Science Campus may apply for a Coastal Science Campus C permit by appeal only. To submit an appeal, Email the following items to Patrick Randolph:
Student Letter of Request
Explain why you are requesting an appeal; the letter must include the following:
- A screenshot of your class schedule.
- Specific dates the permit is needed.
Employer Confirmation
Only complete this if you are employed at the Coastal Science Campus.
Have your employer email a scanned letter confirming your employment to Patrick Randolph; the letter must contain the following information:
- Anticipated end date of employment
- Name, phone, and email of person
- Student employee’s job title and hire date
