Over the past 18 months, UCSC has welcomed 16 newer buses to help retire our aging fleet and improve campus transportation. We also have two new all-electric buses that are scheduled to arrive early in 2026. But we’re not stopping there — these new buses are getting a bold new look, and we want YOU to help us decide what that will be!
It’s time to show off UCSC’s personality and spirit. Submit your vote for your favorite bus design! The top three designs for the standard buses with the most votes will hit the road in Fall 2025. The top two e-bus design with the most votes will roll out when they arrive in early 2026.
